At Portland Road we have a very advanced digital x-ray machine that allows us to take very high quality x-rays very quickly and to view them in amazing detail.  we are able to highlight even subtle abnormalities in high resolution. As the pictures are digital they are very quick to take and process so your pet is anaesthetised for far less time making x rays safer, quick, extremely acurate and overall less costly.

 We also have an ultrasound which we can use for pregnancy diagnosis and non invasive investigation of abdominal or heart disease. Emma Hamilton MRCVS has a special interest in Ultrasonography and is continually working to improve her skills in this field. Katrina Maguire MRCVS is currently studying for a post graduate certificate in internal medicine which will make her a specialist in internal medicine. Ultrasonography and radiology is a large part of this qualification.
